Well, we’re from Seattle, where its usually wet. The ground (whether grass covered, sandbox-saturated, or layered in leaves) at Playgrounds and Parks is often damp thanks to a recent rain or early morning dew. That’s why we designed The Grubby using best quality Nylon fabric that’s water-resistant, yet lite-weight.

After introducing our product to Moms throughout Seattle, many of those discerning shoppers told us that they use The Grubby as clothing coverall for indoor parties that include lots of Arts and Crafts projects that call for artistic painting, when using clay to create all of those great items that creative kids come up with, and when kids start ‘sharing’ birthday cake slices by tossing the cake around the table to each other. Yes, that kind of stuff happens.
